Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus invites applications for two Workforce Education Practical Nursing Instructors. The Ozark Campus is located on I-40 between Fort Smith and Russellville, Arkansas in the city of Ozark. This position reports to the Practical Nursing Program Chair under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer on the Ozark Campus. Selected candidates will perform the duties of instruction in Practical Nursing leading to a Technical Certificate in Practical Nursing and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Allied Health. Responsibilities include classroom, clinical and lab instruction (fall and spring sessions), maintenance of classroom records, advisement of students, service on campus committees, and communication with representatives in the field. Salary is commensurate with a workforce education Practical Nursing faculty position.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing, must hold current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and one year experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN), previous experience in clinical nursing, and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
