Montgomery College, Office of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement has need for a full-time Administrative Aide III, position #S03143. Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Job Summary: The Administrative Aide III to the Senior Vice President of Advancement and Community Engagement performs the following functions such as:
Serves as primary liaison to the Senior Vice President of Advancement and Community Engagement and the Advancement management team.
Functions as primary liaison, internally, between the Senior Vice President's office, the office of the President, Foundation and Trustees boards, SVP for Academic Services, Senior VP for Student Services, Senior VP for Administrative & Fiscal Services, Vice Presidents/Provosts & other Montgomery College staff.
Functions as primary liaison, externally between the Senior Vice President's office, elected officials, major and prospective donors, community businesses, organizations who partner with the College, higher education groups, members of the community.
Ensures execution and successful completion of unit initiatives and projects as requested by the Senior Vice President.
Coordinates the administrative, technical, and secretarial functions of the organization, including determining proper work flow, setting priorities, establishing filing and record keeping systems, etc. and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures regarding office services, College protocols, and administrative requirements.
Prioritizes responses, routes and maintains controls as it relates to general administrative duties that consist of: answering phones, opening and routing mail, typing and creating correspondence, flyers, letters syllabi, tests, and/or reports by typing from draft documents and, calls and walk-ins.
Prepares meeting materials for the Senior Vice President's meetings in a timely fashion.
Prepares consultant/temp requisitions; processes subsequent invoices for payment according to the provisions of the contract.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED including or supplemented by courses in word processing and office practices.
Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience performing general office and secretarial duties involving customer service.
Knowledge of: office support procedures and practice; English usage to include spelling, grammar, writing styles and formats.
Perform mathematical computations and techniques needed to collect, organize, and report information/data in a narrative or statistical format.
Working knowledge of record keeping principles and procedures.
Working knowledge PC hardware.
Skill in using PC software (MS Word & Excel) and office applications.
Ability to guide, lead and/or supervise, which includes training and evaluating professional, paraprofessional/technical, and/or clerical staff.
Ability to draft written correspondence.
Ability to interact with the public and staff, and manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree preferred.
