The Administrative Assistant position will provide administrative support services to the Vice President of Student Affairs and the Director of Career Services/Internships. Provide quality customer service and assistance to students, faculty, staff and the general public. Supervise and direct student worker. Transcribe letters, forms and reports. Maintain information on web pages, schedule meetings, assist with special event planning, and work with budgets.
This person must have an Associate degree, Microsoft Office suite computer skills, four years of office related experience, and customer service experience. Candidate must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural background of students, including those with physical and/or learning disabilities.
Bachelor’s degree plus higher education experience. Has a working knowledge of PeopleSoft and graphic design software. Experience with web pages and supervisory. .
