Position Title Research Coordinator II Staff/Faculty Position Type Research Full or Part Time Full Time Position Summary Information Summary The Department of Psychiatry has a full-time position for a Research Coordinator II. The Coordinator is responsible for the administration of research connected with the Criminal Justice Coordinating Center of Excellence, including data analysis, reports and scholarly writing, monitoring grant budgets and expenditures, complying with all university and agency regulations including IRB and HIPPA, and presentation of results to various audiences at the local, state and national levels. Principal Functional Responsibilities • Coordinates and manages the Criminal Justice Coordinating Center of Excellence to meet the requirements of the granting agency and interested stakeholders • Completes funding applications and required progress reports. • Represents the CCoE at local, regional, and national meetings • Coordinates and completes evaluation activities designed to assess the effectiveness of CCoE supported programs. • Plans and conducts trainings for communities including law enforcement and mental health systems. • Provides consultation and technical assistance to local communities including County Boards of Mental Health and Addiction Services and criminal justice agencies to promote jail diversion of persons with serious mental illness.
