Classification Salary Range*
$2,808 - $4,212 per month ($33,696 - $50,544 annually)
Anticipated Hiring Range*
$2,808 - $3,000 per month ($33,696 - $36,000 annually)
Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC I) is responsible for the administrative design, implementation, evaluation, and recommendation of various organizational systems to support the Budget Office¿s (Budget Administration & Operations) operations. Incumbent will initiate, execute, coordinate, implement, and evaluate projects and office activities to achieve productivity and minimize expenditures by providing lead directions to support staff and student employees in meeting various deadlines for the Budget Office, campus departments, cabinets, and external parties (e.g., Fiscal Affairs, VP Administration & Finance, Chancellor's Office)
Work Experience: Must have two years of experience in related field.
Knowledge: Interpret and apply policies and procedures independently; proficient with office software packages (i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe, Visio) and equipment (i.e., fax, copier, typewriter); thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Abilities: Troubleshoot office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to work area; professional and maintain a high level of confidentiality; coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously; well organized; maintain a professional and courteous manner in a high-demand, deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment; understand problems from a broader perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas; review operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions; effectively write and present own reports; effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels and handle highly sensitive interpersonal situations; ability to apply and interpret policies and procedures independently, and use judgment and discretion to act when precedents do not exist.
Education: BA preferred.
Knowledge: Business math, evaluate budgetary data, and make accurate projections; knowledge of department fiscal accounts and University budget processes; research, preparation and reconciliation of financial reports and documentations using various systems (i.e., HRMS, CFS, CSU) and contacts; filing systems.
Long-term daily use of computer and telephone; standing; bending; lifting; able to work closely with others.
This position may be subject to a background check.
