Purpose

The Sanger Leadership Center Program Coordinator will support Sanger through program design and evaluation, event planning, and marketing and communications support. You will be an important contributor to a collaborative team that is known for its ambitious, creative approach to leadership development. You will report directly to the Associate Director for Flagship Programming & DEI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Program Planning & Portfolio Management

Work with the Sanger team, partners, and students to manage logistical arrangements for single- and multi-day, on- and off-campus events. These include Sanger's signature programs –Leadership Crisis Challenge, Story Lab, Legacy Lab, Orientations– as well as workshops and events associated with Sanger's student communities: Ross Leaders Academy, Women in Leadership, and Leading Inclusive Teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the logistics and coordination of the Leadership Crisis Challenge
  • Collaborate on the Story Lab, Ross Leaders Academy, and other project teams to develop detailed logistical plans, coordinate with stakeholders, administer budgets, and implement with efficiency
  • Interview, hire, and train temporary support staff

Program Design & Evaluation

  • Approach program design creatively, with an eye toward producing rich learning experiences that help define the Ross difference
  • Administer evaluations of program content, effectiveness, and value
  • Create plans for enhancing programs based on feedback and learning

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Work in partnership with Sanger's Marketing Manager to update email text, produce reports and collaborate on various design elements needed for each program
  • Compose emails, letters, and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and a minimum of three years of related experience
  • Minimum of two years of previous experience in project management and/or event planning, including event/program budget management
  • Previous experience composing and proofing professional written materials
  • Passion for higher education, learning, and leadership development

Salary Information:
The general salary range for this position is $44,000 - $51,000. Candidates can expect to be paid a competitive and equitable salary. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. All candidates are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
