Position Summary
The Learning Systems Specialist is responsible for the operation and coordination of maintenance of all library computers and peripherals, smart classroom equipment, and other instructional equipment; the design, operation and maintenance of specialized library software and systems; and, the coordination of Helpdesk staff and operations. Reports to the Dean of Learning Resources. Requires day and evening hours.
Qualifications (Show these and related qualifications on application.)
•Associate Degree required. Associate degree in Computer Information Technology or related computer field preferred.
•Experience with Windows Server 2003 and active directory, and Windows XP installation and maintenance required.
•Experience with administering user management and print management systems preferred.
•Ability to communicate effectively with the public, students, faculty members, and staff required.
•Commitment to providing exceptional customer service required.
•Understanding and commitment to the community college mission required.
