5 finalists named in chancellor search at Southern U. Baton Rouge

A search committee has recommended five candidates to become the next chancellor of Southern University's Baton Rouge campus.
The candidates announced Tuesday are: Earl G. Yarbrough Sr., president of Savannah State University in Georgia; Belinda Childress Anderson, president of Vanguard Anderson LLC in Richmond, Va.; James Llorens, assistant chief administrative officer for the Baton Rouge mayor-president's office; Robert R. Jennings, administrator of Gems Inc. in Union City, Ga.; and Walter M. Kimbrough, president of Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Ark.
