Cornell U. law school enters faculty and student exchange partnership with India's Jindal Global law school

Cornell University Law School has signed for faculty and student exchange programs and joint teaching and research initiatives with the Jindal Global Law School of O.P. Jindal Global University,
As the first joint effort of this relationship signed on Thursday, the schools are organizing a joint conference "Gender-Based Violence and Justice in South Asia," scheduled for October 2011 in New Delhi.
Stewart J. Schwab, the dean of Cornell Law School, welcomed Jindal's Vice Chancellor C. Raj Kumar to Ithaca.
"We believe that this alliance will greatly benefit faculty and students from both schools and further enhance Cornell's international programs," Schwab said. "We look forward to building a longstanding relationship with Jindal."
